Jaak Arro
Jaak (born in 1957) became well-known for painting strong mythological scenes in a very honest but aesthetic way. His creations are raw, strong and masculine. He has mixed woodwork with painting since his early works. Lately he has become more abstract in his creations, concentrating on wood carving and his latest paintings are simple, almost naive as a provocative opposite of modern conceptual art that is often created to be "too complicated" just for the sake of it. Jaak's works are in the Art Museum of Estonia and in different are collections around the world.
He is Liisu's father.
